You will facilitate technology use, implement behavior systems, and help foster a college-going culture. Must have 48 college credits with 2.5 GPA or two years of K-12 teaching; hourly pay $14.50 with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: 48 college credits with at least 2.5 GPA, or two years of full-time K-12 instructional experience.
• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior.
• Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment.
• Knowledge of subject area.
• Creative problem solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective use of technology as a learning tool to improve student achievement and manage tasks.
• Implement a clear behavior management system aligned to campus initiatives.
• Help shape a school-wide culture that fosters a productive learning environment.
• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with students and families.
• Determine from notes which concepts need teaching or retaught.
• Conduct tutorial sessions in math and science or language arts and humanities.
