Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Registered Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental challenges. Competitive hourly pay from $21 to $24, plus mileage reimbursement and benefits, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available.

The role focuses on implementing behavior plans, supporting social and communication skills, and documenting progress for BCBA oversight.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development or 1 year experience with children.
• Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
