Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, provides education services for K-12 students needing additional supports. As a paraprofessional/behavior aide, you will support an assigned student per their IEP in in-district or standalone school settings and help deliver holistic guidance as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.
• Ability to work one-on-one with an assigned student per their IEP.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals and provide accommodations.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical restraint if necessary to maintain safety.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support plans.
