Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to work with children one-on-one in the Woodbridge area who have autism or related developmental or behavioral health needs.

The role involves implementing behavior plans and tracking progress with a BCBA's guidance. Applicants should be 18+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate passion for helping children with special needs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in roles such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
