Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children in the Woodbridge area who have Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental or behavioral challenges.

You will document progress, help improve social and communication skills, and implement behavior plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. The role offers competitive pay with weekly paychecks and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or minimum of one year experience with children in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
