Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for the Intermediate Care Oncology unit. The role focuses on leadership, clinical oversight, and coordination of specialty nursing care in a 36-bed unit.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (MSN preferred), is a licensed RN with BLS, and has 18 months of RN experience in oncology settings. Sign-on bonus up to $25,000 and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ONS/ONCC or Sentara-approved Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing leadership and clinical supervision on the Oncology 6 RP Unit.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives and streamline workflow.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support specialized oncology care.
