Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Day Shift Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for the Oncology 6 RP Unit. You will lead safety initiatives, support staff, and coordinate patient care for oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy, hospice, and related therapies.

Required BSN or MSN preferred, RN license, BLS within 90 days, and 18 months RN experience. Sign-on up to $25,000 and relocation assistance may be available, with a 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• BSN required or MSN preferred.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ONS/ONCC or Sentara-approved Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire.
• 18 months RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Oncology 6 RP Unit with advanced treatments.
• Lead safety and quality initiatives under department manager guidance.
• Support staff development and workflow improvements to enhance patient care.
