Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• CNA preferred.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program.
• Or enrolled in nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing course completed.
• Foreign trained RN relocating to the US without Michigan license.
• Medical Assistant program with or without experience.
• At least 1 year of NA/PCT/PAT experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Assists RN with admitting, transferring, and discharging patients.
• Provides personal care and mobility assistance.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Performs general clerical duties as assigned.
