Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate required.
• BSN in Nursing preferred or required by hire date.
• ADN nurses hired before Nov 1, 2025 must enroll in a BSN within 6 months and complete by third anniversary.

Responsibilities

• Provides charge nurse responsibilities, including assignments, throughput, and staffing to matrix.
• Manages a patient care assignment based on patient care needs.
• Assists with hiring, education and performance evaluation of staff.
• Collaborates with Nurse Manager and HR on performance management and discipline.
• Instructs staff and ensures compliance with standards via ongoing monitoring.
• Acts as role model and mentor for excellence in clinical practice and satisfaction.
• Responsible for productivity targets and budget compliance.
• Leads unit performance improvement activities and outcomes.
