Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Oncology 6 RP Unit. The role involves caring for oncology in an IMC setting, administering chemotherapy, monitoring patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications include RN license, BLS, and oncology/chemotherapy credentials; new graduates are welcome. Sign-on bonus up to $30,000 and relocation assistance are available, with 36 hours per week on day or night shifts.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Students currently completing an accredited nursing program are encouraged to apply.
- Registered Nurse license required.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- ONS/ONCC or Sentara-approved Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care on the Oncology 6 RP Unit, including monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, delivering chemotherapy and other treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized patient care.
- Support patients through complex care needs and participate in care planning.
