UNC Health is seeking a Clinical Support Tech I for the Hematology/Oncology Acute Care Unit in Chapel Hill, NC. This full-time, onsite role combines Nursing Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities and requires a Nursing Assistant I certification and BLS.

The unit cares for patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, involving transfusions, chemotherapy/biotherapy, and end-of-life care.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; higher-level degree may satisfy this requirement.
• Nursing Assistant I certification is required for this role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures and procurement of equipment and supplies.
• Review patient care documentation and report significant changes to a nurse or physician.
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks including organizing workload, greeting visitors, and transcribing orders; maintain medical records and conduct audits.
