Job summary

Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA, seeks a Registered Nurse in Hematology Oncology. You will perform assessments, planning and direct patient care across the care continuum, administering injections and vaccines, and triaging calls.

You’ll coordinate with providers, document in EMR, and support patient education and referrals. Requires MA RN licensure, BLS, and oncology experience; ONS chemotherapy provider card preferred with a 2-year window to obtain.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Bio/chemo certificate and ONS chemo provider card preferred or obtainable within 2 years.
• Minimum 1 year oncology/hematology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Administer injections, vaccines, and manage pump disconnects.
• Triage calls, provide health information and referrals.
• Document in EMR and coordinate with providers for care.
• Schedule appointments and review lab/x-ray results.
