Qualifications

• :OCN preferred or must sit for certification within 2 years of hire
• :Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process for timely, safe patient care.
• Administer injections, vaccines, and pump care; triage calls.
• Follow standards of nursing practice and professional performance.
• Prioritize calls by clinical acuity and triage appropriately.
• Document assessments and nursing diagnoses; coordinate care.
• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to ensure quality care.
• Guide patient education and provide appropriate medical recommendations.
• Schedule appointments for PCPs and specialists.
• Review lab/x-ray results and notify practitioners of critical values.
• Document triage notes in EHR systems; ensure follow-up care.
