Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant in Medical Oncology to support translational projects at the Hasanov Lab within the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology. You will collect patient samples, review EMR data, and enter data into CLIMBS and REDCAP under supervision of the PI.

The role involves coordinating regulatory documentation, preparing reports, and assisting with manuscript planning and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological/health sciences or medical field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0 years of relevant experience required; 2–4 years preferred.
• Experience with clinical research data collection and regulatory documentation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track collection of patient research samples.
• Assist in collection and entry of research data into study databases (CLIMBS, REDCAP).
• Maintain IRB approvals and regulatory documentation.
• Prepare study reports and summaries for grants and publications.
• Collaborate with research team, trainees, data analyst, biostatistician, and PI.
