Qualifications

• 6 months acute care experience in same unit.
• Current and Active Registered Nurse license: CA
• AHA Basic Life Support / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BLS & ACLS)

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive evidence-based nursing care and prioritizes patient care activities.
• Completes patient assessments and identifies physical, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, discharge and cultural needs.
• Creates an individualized plan of care based on assessment and coordinates with other disciplines.
• Implements interventions per nursing/medical plan and uses equipment according to policies.
• Reassesses after interventions and updates the plan of care as needed.
• Recognizes and responds to changes in patient condition promptly and appropriately.
