Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months of acute care experience in same unit.
• Current and Active RN license in California.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Organize and prioritize patient care activities balancing patient needs and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement a holistic plan of care.
• Apply knowledge of current practice standards, guidelines, statutes, rules and regulations; demonstrate ethical practice.
• Advocate for patients and act in their best interests.
• Assess patients for physical, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, discharge and cultural needs.
