Job summary

BioSpace in Indianapolis is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and maintain applications, APIs, data services, and workflow tools for Oncology’s scientific and operational teams. You will partner with stakeholders to improve processes and data access, develop AI-enabled capabilities where useful, and ensure security, reliability, testing, and maintainable documentation across our software stack.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related discipline.
At least four years of professional software engineering experience; equivalent education considered.
Preferred: Python and modern web development, databases and APIs, cloud deployment, CI/CD, AI application experience.
Ability to work with scientific and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, build, integrate, deploy, and maintain applications, APIs, data services, and workflow tools.
Partner with stakeholders to improve processes and data access.
Develop AI-enabled capabilities where useful.
Ensure applications are secure, reliable, tested, documented, and maintainable.
