Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Principal Developer for Oncology Data & AI Systems to design and build an AI-ready data foundation across oncology R&D pipelines. You will lead end-to-end data products spanning clinical, pre-clinical, RWD, and omics platforms, delivering scalable pipelines and governance.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering within biotech, strong Python/R/SQL skills, and extensive AWS experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering within healthcare or biotech industries.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, AWS (Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
• Experience with relational, NoSQL, graph databases, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and management of data products across clinical, pre-clinical, RWD, and omics platforms.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality, governance, and interoperability.
• Collaborate on creating a trusted, reusable AI-ready dataset ecosystem for analytics, ML, and GenAI.
• Translate scientific and operational needs into engineering solutions.
