Beth Israel Lahey Health's Mount Auburn Hospital seeks an Oncology Social Worker to provide biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling to patients and families in cancer care. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address psychosocial needs and coordinate resources.

The role involves discharge planning, family meetings, and adherence to HIPAA, with MA licensure and 1+ year post-master’s experience preferred.

Formación

• Licensed MSW with current MA LCSW required.
• Minimum of 1 year post-master’s clinical social work experience.
• Knowledge of MA health and post-acute care systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform biopsychosocial assessments with patients and families.
• Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling.
• Develop psychosocial care plans with measurable goals.
• Lead discharge and transition planning with care teams.
• Connect to hospital and community resources and assist with planning.
