Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Experience: 3 years’ work experience in a clinical/healthcare setting. 2 years supervisory/management experience.
Oncology nursing experience: 1 year in outpatient setting.
Licensure/ Certification: Illinois RN license. OCN or obtained within 3 years of hire. CHEMO/Biotherapy certification or within 3 months of hire.
AHA CPR/BLS certification.Industry knowledge of oncology clinic and infusion billing; clinic operations in HOD setting.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and operational leadership for oncology services.
Oversee daily operations, nursing practice, staffing, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement.
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, pharmacy, radiation oncology, and leadership to promote coordinated cancer care.
Support program growth, implement evidence‑based practices, monitor outcomes, and ensure policy compliance.
Assist in development and administration of new services, managing department resources.
