Mercyhealth is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Oncology Clinic in Rockford, IL. This full-time position supports compassionate, holistic nursing care with an emphasis on patient education and coordination within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process and critical thinking with the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs assessments, planning, interventions and evaluation of care.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per policy.
• Maintains accurate documentation per established standards.
• Provides patient and family education and support.
• Supervises nursing staff and supports peer review.
