Job summary

United Urology Group seeks a Cancer Services Manager to provide operational, clinical, and administrative leadership for cancer services across locations. You will direct nursing and support staff, oversee scheduling, budgets, and adherence to regulatory standards to ensure safe, evidence-based and patient-centered care.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurse navigators, pharmacy, and radiation oncology to coordinate seamless cancer services, drive performance improvement, and advance

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of oncology nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years nursing leadership experience.
• OCN certification required at hire or within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and chemo/biotherapy provider certifications preferred.
• Experience with budget management, staffing models, and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership to nursing and support staff in the cancer service line.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing plans, and daily operations.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and patient-centered care.
• Lead change management for workflow and technology upgrades.
• Round on patients and staff to identify issues in real time.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and radiation oncology.
• Participate in strategic planning and program development.
• Manage department budgets and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure survey readiness and participate in audits.
