Job summary

Willamette Valley Cancer Institute is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to join their team in Eugene, OR. You will register and schedule patient appointments, screen calls, and relay messages between patients and clinical staff to ensure timely care.

In this role, you will handle paperwork, collect co-pays, update patient information, and maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA and US Oncology standards, contributing to a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some receptionist or office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Surgical care coordination is preferred.
• Must complete required e-learning within 90 days.
• Demonstrates adaptability, commitment to quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and coordinates procedures and operations at multiple facilities.
• Processes patient paperwork, collects co-pays and updates demographics.
• Answers and screens calls, routing to appropriate staff.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and provides appointment details.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
