Job summary

Regions Cancer Center is seeking a scheduling specialist to provide excellent customer service, patient registration, and insurance verification across oncology clinics and chemotherapy/infusion activities. The role requires critical thinking and strong communication with staff, providers, and departments to support patient care continuity.

The schedule is Monday–Friday with weekend rotation about every 10 weeks, and prior clerical/customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year previous clerical and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and perform patient registration, insurance verification, and scheduling across departments.
• Coordinate scheduling for clinic and infusion activities, with strong communication between staff, providers, and departments.
• Perform related clerical duties to support oncology operations.
