Saint Marys Hospital is seeking an Oncology Scheduler to manage and schedule oncology appointments for established patients, including lab, chemotherapy infusion, genetics, nutrition, and related services. The role requires greeting patients, coordinating with clinicians, and maintaining accurate provider schedules.

Experience in a physician's office and familiarity with medical terminology are required; bilingual skills are preferred.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in the secretarial or medical sciences preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience working in a physician's office required, preferably in a similar capacity.
• Familiarity with medical terminology required; ability to communicate well and listen effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients, answer phones, schedule patients.
• Assist clinicians with pre-certifications/referrals, faxes and chart preparation.
• Ensure the provider's schedules are timely and accurate.
• Obtain accurate, timely registration and insurance information.
• Provide clerical support to physicians, clinicians, mid-level providers and staff.
