Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of administrative support in a healthcare setting.

  • Ability to discuss confidential personnel/patient issues with discretion.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient acuity and coordinate treatments with staff.
  • Schedule patients with oncology and infusion centers, avoiding conflicts.
  • Maximize nursing and technician time by efficient resource use.
  • Coordinate special procedure needs with departments and external resources.
  • Ensure patients starting chemo or radiation receive education before first appointment.
