ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the 6E Oncology Unit in Newark, DE. The role involves providing relationship-based nursing care on an inpatient oncology unit, with a focus on adult and geriatric patients, including chemotherapy administration and symptom management.

The position requires a DE or Compact RN license, a BSN or commitment to BSN within three years, 1–2 years Med-Surg hospital experience, BLS, and oncology certification is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• DE RN License or Compact RN License.
• BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date.
• 1–2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit within a hospital setting is required.
• BLS required.
• Oncology certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide oncology nursing care on 6E Oncology Unit.
• Implement relationship-based care with patients, families and colleagues.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage cancer-related symptoms.
• Ensure 24/7 inpatient care on a 38-bed unit with admissions from various sources.
