Messino Cancer Centers is seeking a part-time PRN Registered Nurse to provide safe, patient-centered oncology care in Brevard, NC. Responsibilities include chemo administration, lab and vital sign review, and patient education, with accurate EMR documentation.

The role requires a nursing degree, active RN license, CPR/BLS, and the ability to travel to other clinic locations as needed. Strong communication and critical thinking are essential in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment or multi-state license is required.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications are required.
• Hematology/oncology patient care experience preferred in clinic or hospital.
• English fluency with strong written and spoken communication is required.
• Valid driver's license and travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsabilités

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and other agents as ordered.
• Perform patient assessments, review labs and vital signs, and ensure dose verification.
• Provide patient education on medications, side effects, and treatment plan; educate caregivers.
• Document treatment in EMR accurately and timely; ensure proper charges are captured.
• Assist with inventory, supply stocking, and re-stocking; participate in staff trainings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team and participate in triage via phone and in-person visits.
• Support multi-site operations and work overtime as needed; maintain patient privacy and documentation standards.
