Job summary

American Oncology Management Company’s Messino Cancer Centers in Franklin, NC are seeking a PRN Oncology RN to support two clinic locations. The role involves safe chemotherapy administration, patient assessment, lab review and education, following JBIs and OSHA/NIOSH guidelines.

You will triage calls, document in EMR accurately, manage supplies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle for travel to other clinics as needed.
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care and other agents per provider orders.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects, and treatment plans.
• Triage calls and prioritize patient needs, responding promptly.
• Document all treatments in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Assist with inventory, stocking supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety, privacy and JBIs; participate in required trainings and meetings.
