Job summary

Messino Cancer Centers is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time role in Asheville, NC. The nurse will provide safe, accurate patient care, including assessment, lab review, vital signs, and medication administration, with emphasis on oncology treatments and education.

Responsibilities include triage, EMR documentation, patient and caregiver teaching, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. Travel to other clinic locations may be required; occasional overtime is possible.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required and valid RN license in state of employment.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications required.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to other clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessment, review labs and vital signs; ensure medication safety and accurate dosing.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and other agents per orders; follow ONS guidelines.
