RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking an experienced RN for the Morris Cancer Center's Oncology Unit - MCC-9. This part-time day-shift role involves comprehensive patient assessments, safe medication administration, coordination with physicians, and thorough documentation in EPIC EMR.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license with BLS, is committed to evidence-based practice, and has 1 year of acute care experience. BSN preferred; ACLS/National Board Certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and National Board Certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience preferred.
• BSN strongly preferred or must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on, evidence-based nursing care.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families with clear, compassionate communication.
• Document accurately in the EMR and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote teamwork.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and ladder opportunities.
