Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking an experienced RN Oncology for a full-time night shift. You will assess, develop, and coordinate comprehensive cancer care plans with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Eligible clinicians can earn a sign-on bonus and potential salary increases through our Clinical Ladder Program, based on experience and advancement criteria. BLS and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ acute care experience preferred.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' goals, biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs.
• Act as liaison to post-hospital care providers and community health resources.
• Manage patient transitions through the system and discharge processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and participate in regular peer reviews.
