Job summary

Mercy Fort Smith’s Oncology RN night shift is a demanding role in the Med Surg service line, caring for cancer patients and those with related conditions in a 23-bed unit with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. The unit emphasizes cross-training and professional growth for a dynamic nursing team.

Requires RN licensure (state or compact) and a nursing degree (ADN/BSN/Diploma) with BLS and ACLS; a 10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time RNs with at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure required in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience preferred for Oncology/Med Surg; orientation provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to oncology patients per plan of care.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.
