Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, is seeking an RN for the 37-bed inpatient medical/stepdown oncology unit. The role centers on symptom management, chemotherapy administration, and end-of-life care within a collaborative team environment.

Position requires BSN or higher, NC RN licensure, and BLS. New grads may enroll in a Nurse Residency Program; 12-hour shifts, weekend rotation, and a $15,000 commitment bonus may be available as part of relocation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN or higher nursing program.
• Current NC RN license; compact license acceptable with applicable requirements.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care for oncology patients per physician orders.
• Administer chemotherapy/immunotherapy as trained and authorized.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, case management, social work, and care teams.
• Lead and guide nursing staff; ensure adherence to policies and nursing standards.
