Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, seeks an RN for inpatient medical oncology on the day shift. The 37-bed NP5200 unit manages chemo, symptom control, and end-of-life care with a multidisciplinary team. 12-hour shifts run 7A–7P; weekend expectations and holiday rotations apply.

New graduates are welcome; a robust orientation program for chemotherapy/immunotherapy is provided, along with a $15,000 commitment bonus and relocation assistance based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN/ADN program with RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Renewal of BLS certification and ongoing professional development.
• Eligibility for Nurse Residency Program participation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care per physician orders.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care as needed.
