Job summary

Duke Raleigh Campus, a Duke University Health System facility in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical–Surgical Oncology Unit. This role supports chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration within structured education and orientation, with a commitment bonus of $15,000.

12-hour shifts and weekend/holiday scheduling apply. New hires will participate in the Nurse Residency Program and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) is required.
• Nurses without a Bachelor's degree must enroll in BSN program within two years and complete within five years.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients per physician orders and policies.
• Administer chemotherapy/immunotherapy within 6–8 months of hire for RNs new to oncology/chemo.
• Complete the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course within 24 months of initial competency.
