Qualifications
- Oncology nursing experience preferred or required.
- Chemotherapy certification required within 1–2 years of hire.
- Current Nebraska RN license or compact multistate license.
- BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate nursing care per population-specific criteria.
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments for care planning.
- Develop and revise individualized plans of care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Implement interventions per established plan and nursing protocols.
- Evaluate care outcomes and communicate SBAR to the team.
- Maintain professional behavior and contribute to unit safety and efficiency.
- Assist with risk reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
