Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a full-time Day Shift Registered Nurse for the Oncology 6 RP Unit. The 36-bed unit delivers inpatient cancer care, including chemotherapy and advanced therapies. New graduates are welcome, with a nurse residency and Transition to Practice program supporting orientation and growth.

Eligible candidates may receive sign-on and relocation assistance. The role requires RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, and oncology-related certification

Qualifications

Registered Nurse license required.
BLS required within 90 days of hire.
ONCC/ONS chemotherapy provider card within 6 months of hire.
BSN/MSN preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide chemotherapy and other treatments on Oncology 6 RP Unit.
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications.
Support patients and families through complex care needs.

Education

Registered Nursing degree required

BSN or MSN preferred
