Qualifications

• RN license is required and BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Oncology certification (ONS/ONCC) or Sentara Chemotherapy Card within 6 months.
• New graduates accepted with orientation and residency support.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care on the Oncology 6 RP Unit (36 beds).
• Administer medications and chemotherapy; monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for individualized cancer care.
• Support patients and families through complex treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safety in a high-acuity setting.
