Mercyhealth is seeking an RN in Oncology to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care within a clinical setting, supporting the nursing mission and strategic plan. The position features a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm schedule with daytime shifts, and a focus on accurate documentation and patient education.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required; ADN upon hire with BSN preferred. Licensure in the state is mandatory, with BLS within 90 days and ACLS/PALS/NRP per unit

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• Licensed as an RN in state of practice; BLS required within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process with the interdisciplinary team to care for patients.
• Performs assessments, planning, interventions and evaluation of care.
• Administers medications and treatments per policy and state law.
• Maintains accurate documentation per standards of care.
• Develops and executes patient care plans and provides family education.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and governance.
• Supports system-entity opportunities for learning and evidence-based practice.
• Supervises nursing staff and responds to telephone triage as needed.
