Job summary

Mercyhealth is hiring an Oncology RN to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive nursing care in a clinical setting, aligned with Mercyhealth's mission and practices. The role involves patient assessments, medication administration, documentation, and education.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm; requires ADN with BSN preferred; RN license in state; BLS within 90 days; opportunities for professional growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.
• RN licensure in state of practice; BLS required within 90 days; ACLS/PALS/PEARS/NRP as unit requires.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process with the interdisciplinary team.
• Performs assessments, planning, interventions and evaluations of care.
• Administers medications and treatments per standards of care and state laws.
• Maintains accurate and complete patient documentation.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care with physician guidance.
• Provides patient and family education; supports ongoing learning.
