Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an Oncology RN to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive nursing care in a clinical setting. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm; Day shift with RN responsibilities across the patient care continuum.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred. Licensed RN in state of practice with BLS within 90 days; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required per unit.

Qualifications

• ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process and critical thinking with interdisciplinary team.
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention and evaluations of care.
• Administers medications and treatments per policies and laws.
• Ensures accurate documentation of care.
• Develops patient care plans and educates patients and families.

Education
