Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse for the Oncology Unit on a Day shift. This role provides high-quality, individualized nursing care in a twenty-eight-bed inpatient setting with 24/7 patient support and hospice capabilities.

You will work within a collaborative team framework guided by nurse leaders and evidence-based practice, delivering compassionate care while upholding professional standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required or graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the applicable state; multi-state compact accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Inpatient nursing experience is preferred for oncology or med-surg units.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in a busy oncology unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and document care.
• Adhere to evidence-based standards and patient safety goals.
