Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma are acceptable; a Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.
- Must hold an RN license to practice in Georgia.
- Current BLS certification or equivalent is required at hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care following the Nursing Process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
- Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on safety and outcomes on the Oncology Medsurg Unit.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists and care team; ensure thorough documentation and communication.
- Uphold evidence-based practice and professional standards in daily care and safety protocols.
