Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure required.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for long shifts.
• ACLS certification and BLS or course completion within 30 days of hire.
• Unit-specific certifications as required or obtained within department timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness of other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and protects patient rights.
