Job summary

University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Division of Medical Oncology/Family Medicine. The RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, engaging in chemotherapy/biotherapy administration and family-centered education.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, an active RN license, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing.
• Valid RN License.
• 1 year of Registered Nursing experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong work ethics and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients within the Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Administer medications as ordered and monitor responses.
• Document care and assessments in the health record.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
