Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care as an RN in the ICE | CASL CA Medical Oncology Clinic at UAMS. This professional nursing role requires coordinating care for patients, triaging, and working collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff to develop and implement individual health plans.

Responsibilities include collecting and documenting assessment data, developing a plan of care, administering medications, educating patients and families, and supporting other

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include nursing degree and valid RN licensure.
• At least 1 year of Registered Nursing experience is preferred.
• Oncology nursing experience and BLS/certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• The RN delivers nursing care and coordinates patient care within the Nursing scope.
• Develops and implements a Plan of Care per standard and educates patients/families.
• Administers medications and supports multidisciplinary team members.
• Contributes to a positive work environment and mentors student nurses and staff.
