Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN.
• Valid RN License.
• Minimum of 1 year Registered Nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Collects and documents assessment data from patients and others as per UAMS standard.
• Develops patient's Plan of Care per department/unit standards.
• Evaluates progress toward attainment of desired outcomes.
• Administers medication following department/unit standards and Nurse Practice Act.
• Verifies and evaluates care for patient and family centered care principles and regulatory requirements.
• Promotes evidence-based nursing practices and supports education for patients and staff.
• Communicates care through documentation in the medical record and coordinates with care teams.
