Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Educator for Inpatient Oncology to provide ongoing orientation and professional development for nursing staff across units. You will develop hospital-wide education programs and collaborate with clinical educators to implement safety-focused initiatives.

The role emphasizes competency assurance, learner evaluation, and serving as a resource to the nursing team, with opportunities to influence patient care standards and education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's preferred.
• Three years RN experience in an acute care setting, oncology experience preferred.
• Arizona RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of critical care protocols and patient safety culture.
• Strong program development and teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing orientation and professional development for nursing staff.
• Develop and coordinate hospital-wide education programs.
• Evaluate learner performance and track competencies.
• Serve as an education resource to nursing staff and health care team.
• Collaborate with other educators on QA and safety initiatives.
• Maintain records and reporting on training activities.
• Lead in-service trainings and CPR/CBT trainings.
