Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Educator RN to lead onboarding and ongoing education for nursing staff and patient care technicians across Medical/ Surgical/Telemetry units. The role may require travel to other Northwest Healthcare hospital campuses.

You will design, implement, and evaluate education programs, mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and align training with organizational goals and current best practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in education, training, or professional development in a healthcare setting preferred.
• RN license required.
• BCLS required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with peers, staff, physicians, and administration to assess training needs and deliver learner-focused educational experiences.
• Plans, develops, and delivers orientation programs for new hires, ensuring smooth onboarding.
• Maintains records of clinical training, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Provides hands-on training, classroom instruction, and simulation-based learning to build clinical competencies.
• Stays current with clinical practices and promotes evidence-based standards in training.
